This 30 hour comprehensive and in depth post-graduate level course and training on clinical supervision is designed for psychotherapists and psychologists who wish to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to assume the role of clinical supervisor for candidates applying for registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). The course and training are framed within a developmental, experiential and psychodynamic orientation and presented in two parts: Part I, Clinical Supervision: What is Known,  and Part II, Clinical Supervision: In Action.  The course and training offer the participant the tools needed to be an effective, confident, sensitive, and competent supervisor.

Advanced Training in Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy

 Institute for Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy (SIRP) offers an advanced training  course in Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy for professionals interested in expanding their competency to assess and provide treatment for individuals struggling with self and relational issues associated with trauma, abuse, and individual and couple psychological problems.

 

SIRP is an innovative approach that integrates constructs and processes from Psychoanalysis, Ego Psychology, Object Relations Theory, Self Psychology, Intersubjectivity Theory, and Experiential Therapy and adopts therapy techniques from Experiential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Ego State Therapy and Task-Directed Imagery. SIRP integrates the constructs, processes and techniques within a self-discovery, person-centered, psychodynamic, relational, and developmental approach that addresses the self and relational issues brought up in therapy.
