When it started ....
The Institute for Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy, formerly known as the Ottawa Institute for Object Relations Therapy (OIORT), was founded in 2008 by a group of like-minded mental health professionals trained and orientated in Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy. Together the group developed the vision of the Institute's founder, Dr. Augustine Meier, whose passion and dedication to the field have inspired many. The Institute for Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy, also known as ISIRP, offers various services including:
-
Advanced training programs in Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy.
-
Certification of Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapists and Supervisors.
-
Continuing education workshops and conferences.
-
A research component for members to access and develop research in Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy.
