The Institute for Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy offers a broad range of psychological services including psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and consultation. It offers services within the Ottawa community and exceptionally nationally and internationally. The Institute offers psychological services to organizations, associations and agencies as well as to individuals, couples and families.
The Institute’s experienced team of professionals comprise Certified Clinical Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists, and Certified Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapists.
They provide individual, couple and family psychological and psychotherapy services to children, teenagers, adults and seniors.
The team provides services for a variety of self and relational issues related to and/or including relationship problems, parenting, anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, abuse and trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, and sexual addiction and early childhood (developmental) and family of origin issues.
Psychological Assessment and Diagnosis
The Institute’s psychologists provide psychological assessments and diagnosis for lawyers and for the court.
They also provide the same service to insurance companies in the case of short and long-term disability, workplace injuries, and car accidents.
The Institute provides consultation to individuals and small groups in the area of training and professional development. It offers consultations in the design and development of research projects that are framed within a Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy perspective.
