Continuing Professional Development

Clinical Supervision

The continuing professional development for clinical supervision is designed for students, psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers who have completed the forty-hour course in clinical supervision offered by the Institute for Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy.

The meetings are two hours and take place once per month.

The goals of the meetings are twofold.

First it presents an opportunity for supervisors to use their knowledge to help a supervisee manage challenging therapeutic situations.

Second, the variety of cases brought to the supervision sessions will act as a catalyst for the supervisor to continue to grow both in depth and in breadth.

The meetings are interactive and offer opportunities for stimulating discussions.
